HCAT is 5 years old! To celebrate, 2 children from Thoresby visited Build-a-Bear in St Stevens to make their very own H- CAT soft toy to represent our school. Have a look at the video!

In 2013, we embarked on an exciting journey!

Thoresby Primary School was one of the founding schools of Hull Collaborative Academy Trust  (HCAT). The multi academy is a partnership of Thoresby and  three other successful Hull schools, (Eastfield Primary School, Bellfield Primary School and Collingwood Primary School).

Our incredibly successful trust has grown since it formed in 2013. It is an accredited DfE sponsor and has been approached by many other schools asking to join.  During 2015-16 the trust will include 10 primary schools and one secondary school.

Our Headteacher, Mrs Melissa Milner, is proud to sit on the Board of Directors and work as an Executive Headteacher across the trust.

HCAT now has a strong, effective central team, including leading School Improvement Partners who are all Ofsted trained and one of whom is a former HMI.  The collaboration across the trust and close links to Hull Collaborative Teaching School, Hull SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training)  and Hull Centre for Restorative Practice help us grow from strength to strength.

Hull Collaborative Academy Trust is an exempt charity regulated by the Secretary of State for Education. It is a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales (company number 08542806), whose registered office is at C/O Harris Lacey and Swain 8 Waterside Park, Livingstone Road, Hessle, Hull, East Yorkshire, United Kingdom, HU13 0EN.
