Welcome to the 4L community!

What did the Ancient Greeks do for us?

Our first topic in year 4 takes us back in time to Ancient Greece! We will be asking ‘What did the Ancient Greeks do for us?’ and finding out about their influence on our lives. The topic will be launched with a ‘meet the Greeks’ day on Friday 7th September, where we are inviting year 4 children to come dressed as an ancient Greek for the day. We will be tasting food, creating some craft activities and performing a Greek myth. Throughout the topic we will be developing our history and geography skills to study this fascinating civilization.
